Every young footballer has their own journey. ScoutedByMA provides a straightforward way for promising grassroots players to be put forward for scouting consideration.
Parents, guardians and coaches can nominate a promising young footballer aged U6–U16. Tell us about the player's football background, strengths and what makes them stand out.
Nominations are considered privately by ScoutedByMA. We look beyond goals and statistics, considering technical ability, game understanding, attitude and potential.
Where appropriate, we may contact the parent or guardian to request further information or discuss relevant opportunities. Not every nomination will lead to further contact.
Great players aren't defined by one match or one moment. We consider a range of qualities when identifying potential.
First touch, ball control, passing, movement and confidence in possession.
Decision-making, positioning, awareness and understanding of the game.
Work ethic, resilience, teamwork, coachability and willingness to learn.
Recognising that young players develop at different rates and potential is more important than perfection.
Submitting a nomination does not guarantee that a player will be observed, contacted, invited to an event or offered an academy trial. All opportunities are subject to availability and suitability.
Where a coach or another third party nominates a child, appropriate parent or guardian involvement and consent is required before progressing any opportunity.
Player information is handled in accordance with our privacy and safeguarding information. ScoutedByMA operates independently and is not an official programme of West Ham United FC or Hutton FC.
